In spite of recent spikes due to El Salvador’s adoption of Bitcoin as an official currency the cryptocurrency is tanking. This morning #cryptocrash was trending on Twitter as all cryptocurrencies, not just Bitcoin, are tanking. For the first time since January of 2020, Bitcoin’s value has fallen below $30,000. Many are using this as an opportunity to invest in the cryptocurrency, and are talking about it using the hashtag, #buythedip. Others, however, bought into the dip days ago, and have watched their investment dip and dip and dip as they become more and more concerned. Hardcore Bitcoin and crypto superfans, however, are confident this is just part of the currency’s natural ebb and flow and continue to buy the dip.
